Our History

Wiggle started out as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butlers Cycles went online with the launch of wiggle.co.uk.

By focusing on providing unmatched value and great customer service, Wiggle rapidly took off in the UK and soon began expanding around the globe. We have now grown to become a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries in 10 languages and 14 currencies.

We occupy over 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and stock over 2 million items!

As a German speaking Customer Service Advisor you will be representing Wiggle, assisting and advising our German and English customers via Live Chat, Email and Phone with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve issues

What will I be doing?

Working as part of the customer service team you will be responsible for helping maintaining Wiggle’s global service levels across all media and contact types. Supporting our German and English customers via contact sources of pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services.

This role will have a rotating shift pattern - week 1 06.00 - 14.30 / week 2 - 09.00 - 17.30 / week 3 - 13.30 to 22.00.

One in three weekends will be worked (09.00-17.30) with Monday and Tuesday off.

Shift rotas are provided 8 weeks in advance.

There is also a performance based bonus which is paid monthly

What will I be doing?

The Merchandiser owns the overall Department P&L and is responsible for modelling price promotions and clearance activities, and keeping the range performing within the agreed parameters (Budget / agreed re-forecasts).

Duties and responsibilities

·Input and owner of Department Budget and Forecast

·Sales Volume, Value, COGS, Stock, Intake and Gross Profit

·Creation of balanced range framework (attribute and spend balance)

·Owner of in season trading numbers (P&L)

·Owner of the product forecasts

·Forecast, model and track price promotions and clearance activity

·Propose sourcing objectives (speed / cost balance)

·Develop and sign off the pre-season Department Budget

·Design and sign off the Department Assortment Plan

·Use historical analysis and market trends effectively to justify forward plans

·Identify the required sourcing strategy for the Department

·Manage the in-season reforecasting process

·Manage the range within the agreed parameters (width of range, clearance at end of lifecycle etc)

·Sign off Supplier Deals and Terms

·Communicate key information to the wider business (e.g. Marketing, Operations, Finance etc)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

·Past experience of Merchandising within a similar retailer

·Highly performing individual from within the business looking to progress.

Replenisher

We are looking for career oriented, hungry and ambitious individuals with stock control experience to join our Buying and Merchandising team as a Replenisher. As a Replenisher you will work alongside a Merchandiser, supporting them by effectively planning intake, to optimise product availability in line with WSSI stock targets.

You must challenge and seek ways to constantly improve supplier ordering parameters such as reduced lead times, lower MOQ’s, more efficient pack sizes etc.

What will I be doing?

Replenishers are responsible for placing and maintaining all purchase orders, managing the system parameters and calling off products in a timely manner. They must review the replenishment alerts (under / over stocks etc) and propose and action changes to resolve these issues.

Reporting direct to the Merchandiser, the replenishment role is pivotal to the department success, effectively planning stock intake to optimise stock availability to support achieving, or exceeding, sales budgets.

The Replenisher must have a good understanding of the supply base and manage placement of GFR purchase orders, and inbound stocks. Customer product availability is paramount, and a good understanding of the product sale profile is essential.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the Merchandiser in the management of stock intake within the agreed targets
  • Supporting the Merchandiser on forward order buys/forecasts, working within the Merchandisers guidelines
  • Managing placement to delivery of all GFR purchase orders
  • Maintaining department delivery schedule, vocalising delivery risks or opportunities against the critical path to the Merchandiser and Department
  • Maintaining and seeking ways to effectively improve replenishment system parameters, such as lead times & MOQ’s, monitoring and reporting results to Merchandiser
  • Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure suppliers conform to delivery KPI's, suggesting action plans to improve where necessary
  • Input into Trading, Strategy & Sourcing meetings (stock availability, OTIF, intake bridges & stock gap analysis - overall supplier compliance)
  • Full awareness of department best sellers - proactively raising concerns on order coverage whilst reducing overstocks on the tail, and vocalising over-stock risks
  • Timely resolution of Invoice quantity discrepancies, determining the root cause and ensuring the best commercial outcome for the business

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

No previous experience is essential, although any stock control experience is an advantage. We welcome applications from recent graduates looking to build a career in retail. You should possess exceptional numeracy skills with intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in managing/liaising with a supply base preferable. Proactive behaviour to challenge product lead times, minimum order restrictions and delivery lead times essential. A strong communicator, with commercial acumen and an effective negotiator.

What will I be doing?

IT Service Desk Manager

Are you an experienced IT Service Desk Team Leader looking for your next challenge?

The Service Desk is part of IT Operations and is the one stop shop for all IT incidents within the organisation. It I responsible for closure of incidents, supply of IT equipment and access management. The Service Desk works closely with other IT functions and projects to ensure the smooth running and introduction of change.

What will you be doing:

You will be responsible for providing day to day supervision for the Service Desk Team which provides a first point of contact to all our IT users. A key aspect of your role will be to embed a customer focused culture, with emphasis on ownership of incidents and requests within the Service Desk team. You will also act as the lead Major Incident Manager and are authorised to use whatever resources are necessary to resolve said incidents. This role will also require you to be an escalation point to the primary out of hour’s team for one week in four.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing the ITIL based processes within the IT environment. This includes:
    • Incident management
    • Major incident management
    • Problem Management
    • Service Request Management
    • IT Procurement
    • Software Asset Management
    • Reporting of KPIS

·Dealing with users who have raised particularly complex issues which cannot be dealt with by the Service Desk Analysts, and to support the Service Desk team in the escalation of any unresolved queries

·Managing the workflow and resources of the team to meet Service Desk targets in line with guidance from the Head of IT Operations ensuring that quality and SLA targets are achieved.

·Ensuring incidents, problems, requests and changes are resolved within the agreed timescales set out by the service level agreements.

·Ensuring all users are communicated to regularly with up-to-date, relevant feedback on the status of reported incidents and to action escalations as required.

  • Acting as the Major Incident Manager co-ordinating activities from a virtual team as necessary.
  • Pro-actively identifying problems and trends and propose solutions and recommendations to optimise systems performance and stability.

·Ensuring that all new projects and applications are transitioned successfully in to IT support

·Ensuring the maintenance of processes and documentation to support the Service Desk and Incident Management Process.

Are you an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst with exceptional customer service skills?

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our fun loving and highly professional team based at Chain Reaction Cycles Head Office in Mallusk, Belfast. Our Service Desk team support over 1000 Wiggle CRC staff and deal with on average 40 queries each, per day, in order to ensure our IT solutions’, allow our business to run smoothly.

What will I be doing?

Our IT Service Desk is an integral part of the Wiggle CRC business and acts as a gateway for IT users to engage with the IT department. The work completed within this team ensures that all staff at Wiggle CRC have what they need to perform within their role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Performing first time fix on incidents raised to the team in a professional manner.
  • Provide first line telephone and ticket-based IT and application support to the Wiggle business
  • Performing service requests raised to the team including accounts set up, software installations and physical desk moves.
  • Manage the change management process and attend a Change Acceptance Board when required.
  • Pro-actively identify problems and trends and propose solutions and recommendations to optimise systems performance and stability.
  • Renew or procure services on behalf of the IT department where required by following the purchase order process
  • Provide reports on IT performance to senior members of the Wiggle business.
  • To assist in transition process from either an internal or external IT development team into IT support.
  • Create and maintain IT support documentation where missing or incorrect.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Windows 7 and Windows 10 administration experience.

·Basic network and / or database skills (SQL)

·Active Directory and Office 365 exposure.

·Sharepoint

·Knowledge and understanding of ITIL.

·Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to deal directly with users either by phone or face to face.

·Excellent written skills are essential

·Experience at working in a busy support environment

·Evidence of process improvement to increase efficiency must be shown.
