7 iDP Project 23 GF Full Face Helmet

So named due to the 23 large ventilation ports, the Project 23 GF Full Face Helmet features a whole host of materials and technologies to ensure you're head gets the finest protection possible while offering an incredibly low weight and great value for money for a hard-shell lid. It's at home on the DH circuit but is also brilliant for your trail days or even enduro racing.

Start With Protection

As with any mountain bike helmet, it's core function is to keep your head safe when you take a slam. And to this end, 7iDP chose a Glass Fibre hardshell construction over the EPS foam core rather than in-moulding a light outer to a foam core, as can be found on most trail helmets. This makes it superb at absorbing impacts, prevents penetration from ground objects and, thanks to the Glass Fibre outer, weight is kept remarkably low without compromising safety and also offers great value. The CRV (crash Release Visor) is also designed to snap away in the event of a crash, reducing forces on the neck and head. It simply snaps back into place too, rather than uses bolts.

S.E.R.T. (Seven Energy Reduction Technology) Slip-plane System.

The Project 23 GF also features the S.E.R.T. system. This acts as a slip-plane system to manage the rotational forces on your head and brain. By minimising and managing the transmission of impact forces to your brain, some 20% greater absorption than standard systems, you're less likely to suffer chronic brain injuries.

And to this end, 7iDP haven't forgotten about comfort. The 23 vents make this the most ventilated hard-shell full-face helmet currently available. Pick up speed and enjoy the rush of cool air. The TF (Through Flow) Goggle ventilation ensures you always have a clear view too, keeping fogging at bay.

Inside, the quick-release liner makes it simple to remove and clean, and the AGION anti-microbial liner keeps things fresh when you're working up a sweat. A Fidlock magnetic closure makes for easy on and off too. Less fuss. More riding time.
