Wiggle started out as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butlers Cycles went online with the launch of wiggle.co.uk.

By focusing on providing unmatched value and great customer service, Wiggle rapidly took off in the UK and soon began expanding around the globe. We have now grown to become a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries in 10 languages and 14 currencies.

We occupy over 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and stock over 2 million items!

Business Analyst

What will you be doing?

As part of the Delivery team you will engage in the delivery of both strategic and small changes to the Wiggle systems. The scope of work incorporates all infrastructure, applications and customer-facing websites.

You will also…

  • Work with business teams to identify, understand, prioritise and document business requirements, systems impacts and acceptance criteria.  Collate and analyse performance data to ensure informed decisions.
  • Investigate operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
  • Assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems and identify options for consideration.
  • Work iteratively with stakeholders, to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration, and in defining acceptance tests.
  • Support the development team to write scenarios / user stories / acceptance tests, agree work packages / sprints and produce estimates.
  • Identify any business readiness tasks required to support delivery.
  • Verify and accept the delivered work packages ensuring the development fulfils the business requirements.  Provide support to the test team and business teams to complete functional and acceptance testing.
  • Prepare the handover of products to the business and support teams through showcases and by documenting any business processes changes and producing user guides.
  • Track and report on task progress.
  • Take part in any ad hoc project work improving the performance of the business as and when required.
  • Investigate, identify and present where appropriate, new technologies or processes that will enable the business units to deliver their strategic goals.

Who are we looking for?

  • Demonstrate experience of working in a Business Analyst role, preferably within the retail industry, specifically ecommerce channels.
  • This role will operate as part of a small team, so you must be willing to get involved in the full project life cycle and be passionate about ensuring delivery is of the highest quality. 
  • Experience of working within an Agile / Scrum project environment is desirable.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems and requirements into well written, concise user stories that can be read and understood by business owners, developers and testers alike.
  • You will have a good eye for detail and be able to demonstrate the ability to produce clear, concise, well supported documentation.
  • You will have experience of working on multiple projects concurrently and be able to manage the priorities within your workload.
  • Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers would be beneficial.
  • Ability to be flexible with work duties and hours as required by the team and business, and able to attend other sites for which travel may be required. A small amount of travel may be required.

Customer Service Advisor - Japanese Speaking

As a Japanese Speaking customer service advisor, you will be representing Wiggle, assisting and advising our Japanese and English customers via Live Chat, Email and Phone with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve issues

What will I be doing?

Working as part of the customer service team you will be responsible for helping maintaining Wiggle’s global service levels across all media and contact types. Supporting our Japanese and English customers via contact sources of pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services.

What Hours will I work?

37.5 hours - 09:00 to 17:00

working every other weekend.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and completely via both Chat and Email
  • Monitoring, responding and resolving customer queries on Social media
  • Monitoring and responding to customers reviews across various platforms
  • Calling customers when they request a call back service to answer their queries / resolve any issues
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are conducted in a professional and courteous manner
  • Offering alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Any other Customer service related task

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal in Japanese and English
  • Strong attention to detail and aiming for excellence in delivery

What will I be doing?

You will be working as part of the translation team and provide support for the customer service team when/if necessary. As a WiggleCRC translator, you will be responsible for translating everything for your local TLD: website interface, marketing and digital content, technical products, help pages.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Translate website contents, product descriptions and marketing and digital contents
  • Understand and learn WiggleCRC products
  • Make sure the Translation Memory (TM) is organised and up-to-date
  • Make sure the glossary/termbase is organised and up-to-date
  • Assist the customer service team with incoming email and phone queries from customers
  • Any translation and communication in any other foreign language as required by WiggleCRC
     

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Native standard of Swedish as well as English
  • Degree in translation or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding and excellent command of CAT tool
  • Post-editing skill will be an advantage
  • Creative writing skill will be an advantage

Senior Developer

Job Title: Senior Developer

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Developer you will design, create, test and document new and existing software components from supplied specifications. Project change may require the introduction of new Wiggle systems, enhancements to existing systems and integration with 3rd party systems.  You will lead a small squad of 3-4 developers within the backend development team.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience of leading development teams to deliver software change and being responsible for delivery of collaborative package of work
  • Development frameworks: Microsoft .Net 4.x with C#
  • Web Technologies: Microsoft MVC 5, HTML5 and CSS, JavaScript and frameworks
  • Testing Frameworks: NUnit, Moq or equivalent
  • Data & SOA: Microsoft SQL Server 2012+, No SQL DB's (Raven, Redis or equivalent), ORM's, nServiceBus or equivalent
  • Industry experience of using best practices for code design (SOLID, design patterns) 
  • Awareness of API first design on platforms such as Mulesoft
  • Experience of developing on Azure PaaS would be beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Analysing and synthesizing research data.
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations in conjunction with UX Designer.
  • Challenges assumptions, ensure UX Designers and the Product team action findings from users.
  • Plan, design and conduct usability tests and user interviews. Effectively undertake associated tasks such as participant recruitment, schedule, producing test materials, setting up test environments, and analysing and delivering findings.
  • Create research deliverables such as personas, customer journey maps,  etc.
  • Share relevant user research findings and recommendations with the team
  • Lead progressive, iterative research across agile sprints
  • Participate in project discovery, Help to generate ideas for features and improvements.

What will I be doing?

This role is a key position in the Production Services Team and involves taking a proactive stance in supporting the Wiggle business in the maintenance and upkeep of existing IT Infrastructure, IT Applications, IT Equipment and Telecoms services.

You will also:

  • Fulfil a senior role in the Production Services team, providing support and knowledge-transfer to colleagues in their daily work and activities.
  • Provide proactive day to day support and administration for all infrastructure and services, including servers, storage and networks.

What will you be doing?

Working within the Production Services team, this role will be responsible for the day to day management of all SQL databases across Wiggle’s estate, including monitoring, reporting (including SSRS), SQL reviews, maintenance, performance optimisation and developing/supporting SSIS packages.

You will also:

  • Manage and liaise with developers and third parties to ensure standards and architectural principles are applied as appropriate.
  • Where required, work with the business to capture and analyse requirements, providing technical input in a clear well-communicated manner.
  • Create suitable design documentation and / or data models for others (including 3rd party offshore suppliers) to work from.
  • Analyse systems proactively to identify problems and trends and propose technical solutions and recommend changes to optimise system performance and usability.
  • Managing, tracking and trouble-shooting issues, change controls, bespoke project roll-outs and live fault escalations.
  • Provision of out of hours support.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience and knowledge of supporting and maintaining an enterprise Database platform with a focus on SQL Server 2008 onwards. 2017 skills an advantage.
  • SSRS – Backup Failures/Job Failures/ Instance Status/Service Status and Mirroring
  • Support of SSIS packages & SQL development experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of using and configuring enterprise database monitoring solutions such as Solarwinds DPA & Red Gate.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving MSSQL integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of database backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.
  • Experience in implementing MSSQL operational automation.
  • Knowledge of how MSSQL indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching. How statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively.
  • Knowledge of MSSQL management tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SAC, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs)
  • Synchronisation using remote T-SQL Queries via MS-DTC/RPC.

What will you be doing?

  • You will support the application of technical customer marketing and digital communications activity whilst administering our product-led and customer-led communications delivered through our Digital Communications System.
  • Be the primary contact for the publication of our Email Campaigns, responsible to upload the Design Assets provided by our Design Team.
  • You will use technical knowledge and experience with scripting languages to support the administration of our Digital Communications. Most importantly Personalisation, Segmentation and Recommendations, as we seek to develop first class solutions to engage with our customer base.
  • You will be exposed to a range of marketing activity in a fast-pace eCommerce environment.
  • Act in partnership with Customer Marketing, Sales Promotion and Online Marketing to develop the channels and campaigns we use to market to our customers as well as the Customer Marketing and Insights Team to develop the customer base.
  • Support the administration of the send schedule.
  • Support system availability analysis for the business.
  • Own the build, scheduling and testing of all campaigns

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience of working with a marketing database and/or email sending system such as Salesforce, Silverpop, Emarsys, Mailchimp, Responsys, Campaign Monitor, Adobe Campaign, Pure360 etc.
  • Technical knowledge and experience, with an appreciation of relational databases, SQL.
  • A passion for the customer journey.
  • You will have an appreciation of customer communications systems, such as an Email System Provider, with a keen interest in developing an understanding of our system today.
  • Technical experience with HTML, CSS.
  • Sound organisation and planning skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.

What will you be doing?

As Digital Marketing Analytics Manager you will drive best value to the business from our marketing technology and third-party suppliers and structure data for the marketing team.

You will also:

  • Manage all Marketing data and feed into the business intelligence solution.
  • Work with Google Tag Manager as our main tag management tool
  • Enable the business to embed analytics with each new project, development, partner, brand and product
  • Complete advanced Google Analytics implementations using Google Tag Manager
  • Mange the Data Layer roadmap to assist the CRM and Personalisation team deliver targeted content and promotions to customers
  • Provide data solutions to the Marketing Insights team, managing large datasets for analysis
  • Write new tags in Google Tag Manager using JavaScript / JQuery to extract, modify and utilise information on a website.
  • Assist with reviewing requirements, creating analytics specifications and for robust tracking of marketing campaigns and ecommerce development initiaitves.
  • Troubleshoot ad hoc marketing data issues as they arise
  • Audit and own Google Analytics set-ups to ensure accurate reporting.

The person we are looking for will:

  • Have advanced Google Analytics skills and experience
  • Be experienced in JavaScript, HTML and CSS and SQL.
  • Comfortable using multiple CMS systems
  • Be familiar in building and organising data layers
  • Have experience of working with digital marketing and user experience teams.
  • Be able to troubleshoot code implementations.
  • Have been working with Big Query and Google Cloud
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and try new things.

The following experience would be a bonus

  • Experience with statistical modelling languages (such as R or Python).

Dimensions:

  • Commercial analysis across the Group c£350m per annum turnover. Specifically:
  • Commercial analysis and modelling for the Commercial and Marketing teams
  • Ad Hoc analysis and modelling for the Board across a range of topics
  • Weekly Trading Pack – responsible for collating and circulating the Weekly Trading Pack and Mini Pack. Manages team outputs from across the business to tight deadlines.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – responsible for support B&M and international teams to plan sales and margin
  • “WOBI” Super User – responsible for training and support for wider Commercial Finance team, and the Finance team in general.
  • Marketing Team – monitor performance and challenge where appropriate – set up new reporting to highlight areas where improvements are required.

KPI’s:

  • Provide timely, accurate, ad-hoc analysis as requested by the business
  • Contribute to developing Trade Pack outputs – constantly challenging content to drive better insight on current issues to assist Exec in decision making
  • Produce Board Pack information – Working Capital, Product / Country Dashboards, AOV/UPO (Basket Analysis)
  • Provide timely support to Marketing / International Teams to help them meet Forecast / Budget deadlines, including addressing any challenges back from the Exec.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant : ACA, CIMA, ACCA all considered
  • Great PQE : proving an ability to hit the ground running and to continually develop
  • Comfortable manipulating large data sets
  • Proficient user of all Microsoft Office tools
  • Retail or other fast paced industry experience desirable

Competencies:

  • Great all-round communicator – with the ability to switch from high level Exec conversations to sitting with someone in the business talking them through how to use a system / understand a concept

Are you an experienced IT Desktop Support Analyst with exceptional customer service skills?

We are looking for an IT Desktop Support Analyst to join our fun loving and highly professional team based at our head office in Portsmouth. Our Service Desk team support over 1000 Wiggle CRC staff and deal with on average 700 - 800 tickets per month.

What you'll be doing:

The role of the Desktop Support is to provide second line support for all staff at WiggleCRC. The role works across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. This role will contribute to technical project work and work closely with the Production Services team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Hardware and Software support, face to face or via remote tools where possible support to the Wiggle business across multiple sites
  • Performing service requests raised to the team including accounts set up, software installations and physical desk moves.
  • Pro-actively identify problems and trends and propose solutions and recommendations to optimise systems performance and stability.
  • Renew or procure services on behalf of the IT department where required by following the purchase order process
  • Contribute to the transition process from either an internal or external IT development team into IT support.
  • Create and maintain IT support documentation where missing or incorrect.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing Service Improvements
  • Supporting users at offices in various geographical locations. Travel may occasionally be required.

Accounts Payable Assistant - Part Time , FTC

WiggleCRC are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to Join the team in Portsmouth, Part Time on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

 

What will you be doing?

 

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for entering supplier invoices into either REIM (Oracle Retail Invoice Management) for Goods for Resale (GFR) or into Oracle Fusion for Goods not for Resale (GNFR). The AP Clerk is responsible for adjusting any price or quantity discrepancies following an investigation by the buying and replenishment assistants. The role requires a good relationship to be formed with suppliers and with the Buying and Merchandising team, and with the wider business.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all lines of invoices are entered accurately and swiftly
  • Keep up to date with invoice entry for allocated suppliers
  • Enter credit notes on a timely basis and match to debit memo / credit note requests, if applicable
  • Process invoice or receipt write offs once requested by Replenisher or Buying assistant in line with defined process
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Wiggle CRC processes
  • File invoices in an organized and timely manner
  • Answer supplier and B&M, and requisitioner queries on an ad-hoc basis
  • Ad-hoc work as requested by management

WiggleCRC are looking for a customer driven individual to join the Profit Protection Team! This role is perfect for people that are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

What will I be doing?

The purpose of this role is to support the end to end Lost in Post process from original customer contact all the way through to courier compensation. The role will support and manage Wiggle customer contact and submit group courier claims for both Wiggle and CRC. There are multiple WiggleCRC sites across the UK in which orders are shipped and so this is a busy role.

What hours will I Work

Rotating Shift Patterns between 07:30 – 20:00

Every other weekend working Saturday & Sunday between 08:00- 20:00

Duties and responsibilities:

- Ensuring customer contacts are addressed within the expected CS KPI required timescales.

- Logging, submitting and chasing couriers for claim repayments.

- Recording and reporting on Lost in Post levels by country and service to identify concerns.

- Working with the Op’s courier management team to address any concerns.

- Providing support to the group and submit investigations into damaged in transit cases.

- Identifying any fraudulent claimants and liaising with the fraud team to raise concerns.

- Continually evolve the Lost in Post process to benefit customer requirements.

- Provide visibility to the group of reconciliation against what has been lost, claimed and compensated. Identifying gaps and addressing.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • The confidence to directly approach internal and external relations, challenge current processes and build foundations for future working.
  • Analytical in reconciliation and willingness to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
