Orro Bostal Plus Gravel Saddle

Specifically developed for the demands of modern gravel bike riding, this versatile saddle is equipped with a microfibre cover that allows it to handle the pressure from weekend-long adventures. Silver gloss detail complements the wear-resistant microfibre upper with a matt surface finish that ensures repositioning while riding is never an issue. Orro has also equipped this Plus version with lightweight hollow chromoly (CrMo) steel rails for a superior strength to weight ratio as you ride across the most demanding of mixed gravel terrains. Coming kitted out with a tough nylon base and nylon weave rear side panels, this model provides excellent strength and flexibility as you transfer all of your power to the pedals.

Closed Cell Padding and Pressure Relief Channel

Bostal saddles use a graduated closed cell padding which gets thicker and softer toward the tail. This specific material zoning, combined with a pressure relief channel, enhances comfort with the more upright geometries of gravel bikes. Three cut-outs on the underside of the tough nylon base allow the material inside to compress in response to rider weight for a personally tuned level of comfort.

The unique challenges of gravel riding are experienced by the Orro team regularly while testing bikes on the local Sussex Downs trails. This demanding terrain put its riders on a path to develop the Bostal Plus saddle, a perch that matches additional comfort with the added durability that adventurous riders expect. The Bostal is named after the local Sussex term used to describe a small road leading up a hill.
