The evolution of a successful model, this road bike saddle features a completely revised design that's engineered for the demands of modern road cycling. It comes equipped with a high-quality microfeel cover, which uses its microfibre material to offer greater resistance against abrasion and weather while remaining durable and easy to clean. Selle San Marco has also kitted out this version with a carbon-reinforced nylon shell, which has a high-performance nylon construction that's enhanced with carbon fibres that are built with variable thicknesses and reinforced by ribs and bridges. This allows it to deliver greater rigidity, ergonomics and durability characteristics, without affecting weight to the shell.

The Shortfit model is the most aggressive saddle in the collection. It is distinguished by its short length and maximised central cut-out. The excellent, generous rear support makes this model ideal for those athletes who rotate their pelvis a lot whilst pedalling and as a result, move closer towards the handlebars. Its technical structure makes it particularly suitable for road use.

Road Bike Saddle with Xsilite Rails

Designed for racing, this road bike saddle features Xsilite rails that are made from an AiSi304 hollow stainless steel construction. Its robust rails make it very light, resistant and tough against all weather conditions thanks to its special production process that guarantees excellent fatigue resistance.

Open Fit Design with Biofoam Padding

Coming kitted out with an Open Fit design, this saddle has a central cut out that runs down its middle to relieve any pressure or fatigue from around your sit bones. In addition, the Selle San Marco Shortfit 2.0 Racing Saddle has Biofoam padding for extra comfort on longer journeys. 

Technologies:

Microfeel: Microfibre material, abrasion-resistant, weather-resistant, perspirant. Great touch and feel. Long-lasting and durable. Easy to wash & clean.

Carbon Fibre Reinforced: High-performance nylon, enhanced with carbon fibres, built with variable thickness, reinforcements by ribs and bridges, which enhance the rigidity with ergonomy and durability characteristics, without affecting weight to the shell.

Xsilite Rails: AiSi304 stainless steel hollow rails (outer Ø 7 mm - inner Ø 5 mm). Very Light, resistant, and tough against all weather conditions. A special production process guarantees excellent fatigue resistance. All Racing level saddles have Xsilite rails.

Biofoam: Biodynamic low-density foam with variable thickness structures that follow the movements of the pelvis when pedalling, for guaranteed comfort, low weight, long lasting resistance and ideal support. 

Open Fit: A saddle is Open-Fit when it has a small or large hole right through the seat. It is suitable for individuals with a medium to accentuated pelvic tilt.
