The Substance CRX-1 HT is optimised for off-road trail riding, gravel grinding and long-distance adventure rides, this Substance hardtail (HT) variant features RockShox suspension forks at the front and a quality finishing kit from FSA and Prime. It is engineered with a lightweight and durable full-carbon frame that is equipped with 30mm-travel RockShox Rudy suspension forks and a SRAM Rival 1x11-Speed groupset with a wide-ranging 11-42T cassette and hydraulic disc brakes. It also rolls upon Tubeless Ready Prime Kanza wheels wrapped in Tubeless Ready Maxxis Rambler tyres, giving you superb stability and traction for all-terrain riding.

Aided by big volume tyres that soften the bumps and add traction over rutted or loose tracks, the build also includes an FSA Gossamer seatpost for maximum freedom of movement on the steepest terrain. With compatibility for 1X or 2X drivetrains and either 700c or 650b wheels, you can really fine-tune the setup to best fit where you are riding. And if ultra-racing or multi-day expeditions are your thing, the frame has ample mounts for luggage, waterbottles and mudguards. For those remote rides where water, food and spares might be hard to come by, you can always load up with whatever you need to reach the next supply point.
